If you want to be the most popular person at a holiday gathering or party this year, bring this basic cheese ball. So easy. It’s another 3 ingredient specialty of mine. Please note that in my photos I made a super sized cheese ball with a double recipe. Ingredients below are for a single recipe.
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 8-12 ounces grated sharp or extra sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- optional: crushed or slivered nuts to coat the outside
Blend everything together in a food processor. Shape into a ball and coat with nuts. Serve soft, as is, or refrigerate to make it firm and use later. Instead of shaping it into a ball, you could also serve it in a pretty dish and smooth the surface flat. But that’s boring: It’s all about THE BALL!!—an American classic.
